The Only Apple App for Android

While all the services you access with your iDevice are not available for Android, Music makes a pleasant exception. It won’t let you lost all the songs and albums you have bought in iTunes. You can add some music you already have on your device or cache some of your library for listening to it while offline.

If you have used it on your iPhone, you’ll find Apple Music app extremely familiar. It’s designed the very way it looks under iOS. The home screen shows your playlists, purchased music, and the whole library. The “For You” section shows music available for streaming. New playlists appear weekly, according to your preferences.

Apple Music free download is available for all Google-enabled Android devices. You can as well download Apple Music APK from third-party sources, but there’s no guarantee it will be the latest version.

Is It Really Necessary?

It’s irreplaceable when you, say, temporarily switched to an Android device; then Apple Music for Android is the only solution to access the music you bought for your iPhone or iPod. If you have subscribed to Apple Music, your subscription is valid with this app. Just enter your credential and listen to whatever.

If your phone has a decent DAC, your music may sound even better than it did on the iPhone. But a mediocre audio hardware will kill the joy.

Pros

► Access to all music library by Apple for a reasonable price;

► Familiar interface;

► No new subscription required;

► Music from third-party sources supported;

► It offers some music that can’t be found in Spotify, Pandora, or Google Play Music.

Cons

► The app isn’t integrated with other apps and other services like it is under iOS;

► Sound quality depends on the hardware;

► It doesn’t offer some music its rivals have.

An Option for Music Fans

In fact, it is. Even if you have no devices by Apple, you can download Apple Music to your phone and iTunes to your PC and enjoy integrated music library with good quality, for a reasonable price.
